Dr. Darbar is an established physician-scientist with national recognition in the genetics and pharmacogenetics of atrial fibrillation (AF) and its response to therapy. He has established clinical-DNA biorepositories to explore the genetic architecture of AF, to identify clinical and genetic subtypes, and lay the groundwork for replacing empiricism with mechanism-based approaches to treatment of AF.
