CCVR Research Day – Gunner Lectureship
The CCVR Research Day is a wonderful opportunity to view and discuss the latest findings in cardiovascular science with students, fellows, and faculty. Topics include Heart Failure, Cardio regenerative Medicine, Ion Channels and Arrhythmias, Vascular Biology, Cardiac Metabolism and Signaling, Cardiac Muscle Mechanics and Proteomics, Cardiac Resuscitation, Risk Assessment, Excitation-Contraction Coupling, and Pulmonary Hypertension.
CCVR Chicago Neurovascular Research Symposium
The goal of CNVM is to provide a platform for neurovascular scientists to foster collaborations, share ideas and exchange expertise. The meeting will focus on fundamental biology, neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration, and the latest research methods. Junior faculty, trainees, and those new to the field are particularly encouraged to attend. Poster session prizes will be awarded.
CCVR Town Hall Meeting
The CardioVascular Research Center hold an annual Town Hall Meeting to provide an opportunity for UIC Faculty, Staff, and Trainees to learn more about the many services available through the Center, and to hear community members express their opinion and new ideas. This is particularly valuable to our new faculty and members to learn of all the CCVR has to offer them in support of their studies intellectually, experimentally, and financially.
